Karla Estrada, Romnick Sarmienta admit being lovers before

Karla Estrada and Romnick Sarmienta recently revealed that they were in a relationship before during the airing of the ABS-CBN morning talk-show “Magandang Buhay” last Thursday, November 8.

Based on the exclusive tell-all interview, Melai Cantiveros and Jolina Magdangal found out that Karla and Romnick were lovers back then when they were working on”That’s Entertainment.”  The pair, not wanting to hide, immediately confirmed the issue and said that they were together when they were still young.

But prior to the confirmation on the television, “That’s Entertainment’s Wednesday Group” member Jojo Abellana already dished out the pair’s past romance with each other. To those who missed it, Jojo made a guest appearance on “Magandang Buhay” during Karla’s birthday celebration last year.

“‘Yung isang best friend ko sa Wednesday Group ay lagi kong kasama. So nagtaka ako, sabi niya, ‘Jo, samahan mo ako.’ ‘Di lang ako kasama, (pati) ‘yung co-members. So sabi ko, ‘Go bro, sama kami.’ Nagulat ako, nagulat kaming lahat, biglang si Karla ito ah.”

Jojo even added that “those were the days” of Karla and Romnick’s young love.  Karla, on the other hand, defended their romance and said that they were just young during that time. As of this posting, Romnick and his ex-wife, Harlene Bautista, surprised the entire industry when they announced their separation.

In a joint statement, Romnick and Harlene had finally put their 19 years of being together to an end. Meanwhile, Karla is currently happy with her non-showbiz and businessman boyfriend Mark Yatco.  Karla said that both of them met during a friend’s party, and introduced through their close friend, Leandro Munoz.
